realme neo 8 : 165Hz Display, 8000mAh BGMI 120FPS

realme neo 8 review: basically a flagship under 40k

so the Realme Neo 8 is looking like a really big deal for india in early 2026. it’s out in china already, but we might see it here as the gt 8 or maybe the gt 8t… honestly who knows what they’ll actually call it.

it’s got a crazy fast chip, this huge 8000mah battery, and a super bright 165hz screen. like, it’s clearly built for people who just want pure power and gaming.

realme neo 8: how it looks and feels

flashy gaming vibes with some RGB

it definitely has that gamer look. There’s this RGB light on the back, which is kinda cool, feels modern. Maybe that one color is a bit much for some people, but the silver version? Honestly, that looks way cleaner and more stylish to me.

It feels really solid too, feels expensive:
glass back,
metal frame,
thickness of about 8.3mm

weight and how it feels in the hand

Because of that massive battery, it’s around 212 to 218 grams. sounds heavy, but they balanced it well, so it’s actually pretty comfy if your hands aren’t tiny.

Realme Neo 8 Screen – Seriously, one of the brightest AMOLEDs ever.

6.78-inch 165Hz AMOLED Screen

The display is probably the best thing about the Realme Neo 8.

Screen specs:
6.78-inch AMOLED panel
165Hz refresh rate (so smooth)
10-bit color depth
HDR10+ support
M14 display panel

Brightness & using it outside
6500 nits peak (crazy high)
1800 nits HBM mode
3800 nits outside in the sun

Even when the sun is beating down, you can actually see what’s on the screen. Colors stay real and don’t look all weird or washed out like most other phones when it gets too bright. It’s got like 113% DCI-P3 color, so movies and gaming just look amazing on it.

Realme Neo 8 Speed & AnTuTu Scores

crazy fast chip with LPDDR5X and ufs 4.1

It’s got the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5… It’s honestly a total beast.

How it runs:
antutu: like 3.2 million or something
Geekbench multi-core: hitting almost 10,000
LPDDR5X RAM
UFS 4.1 storage

For like 99% of people, this phone is gonna feel ridiculously fast. Apps open instantly, switching between stuff is super smooth, and future games will run. Camera Specifications & Features
